Casino Royale...
Yesterday, marked my first step into the casino. The main reason I went into the casino was because I heard it was opened by Lim Goh Tong. Yes! That old bugger that own the only casino in Malaysia!
And so, I step into the casino. Oh btw, the casino is called Circus. Funny name for a casino eh? Anyway, the first step I took into the entrance was quite nice. I mean as in how it was presented. But the moment I step into the casino area, where the games begin. It was a dissappointment. I was expecting much of a... Las Vegas casino style.
I sat there watching my coursemates bet on the roulette. Btw, I thought roulette was a Russian thing right?! They call it the Russian Roulette right? But on the table they said it was American Roulette. Anyhow, that game is such a rip off. You either loose way too much. Or you win. But I guess the rate of losing is much higher. First they give you confidence by letting you win quite a lot. And then...POOOFF!!! You loose double, triple, quadraple, pendrable, hexdraple whatever!! The point is...You LOOSE REALLY REALLY A LOT!
We then head for the BlackJack table. My hands started to itch, because I'm more familiar with blackjack than any other casino games. The heck, I know...Call me pussy or whatever. I'm not the gambling type aights?! I'm a dummy in gambling okay! Back to topic... My hand itched so I set myself a budget of £20. Yes, that is a lot in Malaysia Ringgit. But its quite small in the UK. And the minimum bet is £2. So £20 should be quite fine.
The round started of with me losing. Then I started to win again. And I lose. And I win. And I lose. And I win. You see? The game keep getting me stucked at £20. After a few more rounds, my luck started to change. I am winning! It was all luck really. I win everytime I feel like raising my bet. Not everytime though, most of the time. I was winning more than £20.
It was at that moment. A friend of mine saw me winning and he feels like in the mood of playing as well. So he asked £10 worth of chip from me. Before that, I owed him about £30. It was because the other day I needed money to pay for the school trip to Coniston and I haven't got my account set up yet. And so he took the £10 worth of chip, now I owe him £20. My luck was still quite alright. The balance in my hand kept staying at about £30. He then needed another £10, because the card he was betting on, he split the card and so he needed to bet more. So this leaves me about £20 chips on my hand, and me oweing him £10!!!
After he took the money from me, my luck started to change. I keep loosing and loosing. Till all £20 chips on my hand were sucked clean. No wait, I have one more 50pence chips! But that was no good. Because minimum bet is £2. So I kept the chip as souvenier instead! But fuck, when I think about converting the 50pence into Malaysian Ringgit, it worth a plate of fucking Chicken Rice to me! And I haven't eaten my dinner yet! I was fucking hungry.
Anyhooss... I won 50penny from the casino. Ya I know, quite sad right? But I go there just for experience. I didn't loose any money, so I don't feel bad. It more like me taking out the money to pay back my friend really. Oh, I was really hungry. And I hated the casino, it smells like crap! I hate this kind of places. I don't like smoke smells, or to be exact, cigarettes smokes, it gives me headaches. I went out for a walk around the city and for fresh air. Seriously, the city here has fresher air than Malaysia. I mean Birmingham city, not London. London is fucking polluted. Oh, I was hungry right? So I went alone to the only Malaysian restaurant in Birmingham. As I have a strong crave for Malaysian food + I'm really hungry. So I ordered claypot chicken rice! YUMMY! and also TEH TARIK!. I feel so like I'm back in Malaysia already. But it cost me a bomb. Claypot chicken rice at £7.20 and teh tarik at £1.50. Oh, this come the pist off side of me.
A while after I've ordered my food. A few guys who were still in the casino called me up asking where am I. And so they came and joined me for my dinner/supper. One guy came in and was like.. "Woah! You damn rich hurh come here and eat?!". That fucking set me on fire, but I didn't scold him. I was like whatever to him. But like fucking seriously?! Is spending money on food better or...losing your money in a fucking casino?. And for goodness sake, I'm not that greedy till I go to the casino for the free fucking food. I know you're trying to save money by going to casino and eat their free food. But don't you fucking judge me, because I know I am better than anyone in those casino. I don't mean better in studies, I suck in my studies. You know what I mean when I say I'm better than them.
I like Malaysia, I'm proud to be Malaysian. But, the Malaysians here make me fucking embarassed to be a Malaysian. They act like a anti-social, not that I'm very sociable. But definitely a gazzilion time more sociable than them. They act like a fucking JAKUN (someone from the jungle who haven't seen the world). I even got comments from people from other country about my Malaysian counterparts. This is what I get "Arrogant", "Rude", "Assholes"...
Just for notice, I'm not saying all Malaysians here are acting like those I was mentioning. There are a FEW nice ones out there. But mostly are not. And I'm not saying that I'm nice or bad either. I don't care what you think about me. I don't fucking care who you are. I don't judge you. You don't judge me. The only people I care about how they think about me is my close friends. And friends that is worth being friends.
Oh...stop being in a frantic mode already. Oh, last thursday. I tried one new yummylicous recipe. I got the recipe from Jamie Oliver though. Did you know that he is my favourite cook? I'll give anything to be like him. Oh, since I told you guys he's my favourite cook. You should know what to get me for christmas right? Well..for a notice to you, I already have two book of his. "Jamie's Dinner" and also the latest "Cook With Jamie". I really want Jamie's Italy though. ekekekke. Or, maybe his Tefal series cooking utencils? Nyak Nyak Nyak!
Here, a pict for you to drool on...
Its a mushroom, potato and chicken cooked with wine. Looks yummy? And it really do taste yummy! According to my flatmate Omar. :)
