This is 100% pure shit.

In the midst of all the exams. I have to decide which fucking project I want to do for my final year! Can't they fucking give us do it at a better time?! KNNBCCB!

Anyway, they gave us a total of 153 different type of project to choose from. Out of the 153, I am only interested with 4?! Like WTF?!

Only one person could do one specific project?! Damn fuckers...It means first come first serve.

My four interest are:
1. Optics for Nanotechnology
2. Nanogears
3. Flapped Wing Vehicle (Ornithoptor)
4. Modelling the growth of jawbone in 3D

I have always been interested in doing nanotechnology related stuff. This would be my chance to be involved! But it is not easy, we will have to go through interview with the lecturer before we get the project.

I just emailed Prof. Prewett, the one in charge of Optics for Nanotechnology. As the title says so, it is regarding optics in nano-scale. The number one reason for me to go with this is because I will be working alongside as an assistant to the researcher. Then my work will be published in a book in 2008! This is a super chance for CV, and a great learning experience. But as nice as it may sound, its not easy to get. The professor himself is in the founder board of Institute of Nanotechnology. Hopefully he'll think that I'm capable of doing the project!

For the nanogears, I will be fabricating real nano-scaled gears and test it in a nano gear box in a state of the art clean room! HOW COOL IS THAT?! Though this is my second back up...

Flapping Wing Vehicle. Yes, a vehicle that flaps its wing and fly like a bird! I've always wanted to build my own plane and fly. Been dreaming of it since I was a kid with LEGO in hands...

Modelling the growth of jawbone, this will help any doctors greatly if they were to estimate how one's jawbone would grow. Or how should you replace the jawbone. Always wanted to be into medicine, but too bad I suck at bio. Biomechanical sounds nice though! :D

I'm doomed if I don't get any of the above project! Because the others are just plain boring! HELP!

My biological clock, I can say... I've screwed it up badly. And I mean it. BADLY!

I have a habit of waking up at weird times. Let's say for today. My exam is at 9.30am. I slept at 11.30pm. Woke up at 2.50am. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with me?! For the past two exams, I can't sleep for more than 3-4hours!

The worse result of screwing my biological clock? I fell sick. And no, you do not want to be sick during the exam period! But luckily I recovered quickly. Many thanks to those who were trying to feed me their mountains of medicine when they got to know I'm sick, but I am pretty capable of eating my own medicine! Mine is as good!

Even the day/night shift is not helping me now! I mean seriously, day and night seems to go by so fuckingly fast! These days, the sun sets at about 9ish... And it gets later and later as weeks past until the end of summer. The sun rises at about 4.30ish everyday, and it gets earlier as weeks past!

Imagine this, usually during the sunset back at home. You get to see the sky in a very dark blue and the tinniest hint of light around 7.30pm right? Now I get these around 9.30pm. Also, you usually get to see the tinniest hint of light and the dark blue sky around 6.30am right? Now I get these about 4.30am. Holy crap, now I look out the window, I can see the dark blue sky already. Its only 3.47am now.

Anyhow, I've been treating myself to new music these days. Stress release strategy! Thought that the few of you who shares my taste of music would want to know some great new/old music out there! And really, it is really hard to find Malaysians or should I say Asians that have almost the same taste of music as I do! I'm not saying there isn't one. But definitely not in Birmingham. What's the point of having so many gigs here when you can't find one to go with you?!

This was somewhere random in Stourbridge, Black Country. This is one of the random meeting with people! I remembered I needed to go somewhere after all my assignments is due. I was wandering around Flickr the night before and joined a Flickr group called the Birmingham Flickrmeet! Yes, they meet up to go around! It just so happen that they were going to have an outing nearby the day after. So I decided to join them. I asked if anyone would guide me to the destination. No answer immediately, but in the morning someone replied in Flickr saying he could meet me at so and so if I reach there by so and so. So I quickly get ready and head over! For your info, I have not met them before, nor talked to them much. This is the most random thing I've ever done! But it was all great! Meeting people of all ages! People range from 20s-60s turned up! I'm thinking of starting one myself in Malaysia! Let's have Klang Flickrmeet!

BOOH! Surprise! Said I wasn't going to post, but hell ya!

This is because I'm getting a break after my 5 reports was due and before stating my exam revision!

Today, well I mean yesterday, I didn't sleep for like 31hours+!!! I was practically awake since 3rd May at 9am until 4th May 4.30pm! This is certainly my first record! :D

Well I spent most of the hours writting a report! From 9am-7am is the time I used to write the reports. Why take so long?! First thing is I have 3.5/5 reports left to write. Second thing is THE FUCKING CALCULATION IS A REAL PAIN IN THE ASS! I got a feeling I might, in the future design a car that may malfunction and explode like an atomic bomb when you ignite the engine. Think I should work with the terrorists maybe?!

This kinda reminds me when me and friends were talking about past time. Saying that if Mr.Taliban were to see how we play and handle fireworks, they would definitely sign us up for the front-line! Good ol' days aye?

Oh, from 7am onwards i practically spent my time fooling around with the others, and catch up on a half hour nap. Not exactly half, someone woke me up and ask me if I need anything because she's heading towards the Uni! I'm half angry because she woke me up! Half not because she's considerate enough to know that some of us were camping in the uni and needed some food/motivation!

After handing in our reports, its DIM SUM TIME! Off we go to the city! Reached chinese quarters! While buying the train ticket, a friend ask.

Me: "Eh Soo Guan. Teach me how to use the machine buy ticket!"

Friend: "WOKAY DOKAY! Press Birmingham for New Street Station."

Friend: *clicks*

Me: "Okay...Then you got railcard or not?"

Friend: "Yea Yea! Of course got la!" *looks left and right*

Friend: "We've taken so many times and yet not get caught not having railcard!"

Me: *laughing my ass off* and *no comments*

Everyone: *gets on the train*

Trainman: "Tickets please everyone!"

Trainman to 1st Friend: "Sir, can I have your ticket please?"

1st Friend handed over and Trainman checks ticket.

Trainman: Can I see your railcard please?

1st Friend: I'm sorry but i forgot to bring! *the fact is that he doesn't have it!"

2nd Trainman came over to 2nd Friend.

Checks ticket and asked for railcard again. Apparently they don't have any! You need a young person's railcard in order to get subsidised train fare! So all four of them get fined £20 each for not bringing/having a railcard! £80 pounds gone just like that! AHAHAHA! I'm laughing my ass off! Because I'm the only one who didn't get fined!

Think they should learn their lesson not to simply break the law!

Well, we reach DimSum restaurant at 10.30am. Reached the door, BANG! The door was locked! WTF?! Not Open?!

Go on by checking other restaurant in the quarters. None is opened yet?! Like what the hell?! Its 10.30am and no one is open yet?! This is definitely the most lazy chinese to start their business! Except for the chinese groceries store!

We couldn't eat our DimSum till its 12pm. When we were in the restaurant at about 12.10pm we started ordering everything we want. THIS IS THE FUCKING LONGEST DIM SUM I EVER HAD TO WAIT! It took like half an hour before they started serving us! Its like they fly back to china to buy dim sum!

I didn't stay long for dim sum because I had to rush back to The Guild to take care of the DarkRoom's shop hours! The photosoc's treasurer couldn't be able to take care of the shop due to some important work is up. So he asked me or the president to cover him. Shop hours is from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. I basically spent the whole hour chatting with the president. Very nice english girl she is I must say. Most english are very nice and friendly here but not the one from my course!

Anyway, after 2.30pm. I spent my time in the darkroom developing film for shots I took with my ebay won Olympus Film SLR. It turned out so beautiful! First time ever I'm so satiesfied with the picture I took! Maybe because when you're using a film camera, you don't tend to simply shoot!

Spent my time in the darkroom till 4pm. Catch a bus back and reached home close to 4.30pm and off to bed I go after changing!

That's how I spent my 31+hours awake!
