Gong Xi Fatt Chai & Chap Goh Mei!
Well...first of all. Wait hold on. I just realised this. I never wished on time do I?!
Oh well, you guys will forgive me right? BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! HAH!
So, here it goes. Happy Chinese New Year! and Happy Chap Goh Mei! Wait...I actually wished on time for Chap Goh Mei! WOOT!!!
I seriously seriously seriously like fucking seriously. I mean like seriously, miss the CNY I used to have back when I was still in secondary. I miss the dangerously crazy yet fuckingly awesome and fun fireworks we usually does. I miss running away from police as well as getting cought by police due to the huge fucking amount of fireworks we had. I miss the fun gambling that we do in every single one's houses. I miss the Lou Yee Sang/CNY dinner we do every year in restaurants. I miss driving around to people houses and collect ang pows. I miss a lot of fucking thing during CNY! I miss the fucking spirit of CNY! I miss the ding ding dong dong annoying CNY song played in almost every fucking shop/restaurant!
CNY this year, I'm pretty sure, isn't the same as usual for most of you. Well, I know it would be very different for most of my buddies. Hyon-Xhi, Ju Jin, Gan, Edward, Chee Liang, Sharmila. We use to hang out like almost every fucking day of the week despite of college or school. Nothing really stops us for doing stupid fun thing during CNY, and the rest of the less festive days. But this year it did. Distance, separated us. The pursue of our future separated us. But I guess, each of us will find our way through this CNY.
For me, I did have quite a bit of CNY celebration. But nothing compares to what I had before. 2 days before the CNY, I went for a CNY dinner organised by the Malaysian Society of University of Birmingham. It was good food (not great), and also some company of others. The others head back home for more alcohol but I didn't. Because I had to wake up early the next day.
So, on chinese new year's eve. I head down to London, for some sort of "Re-union" dinner with my sister and her boyfriend. It was nothing much, but it was some nice good home cooked food. On CNY, I went to Selfridges for lunch just before I head back to Birmingham. I ate Char Kuey Teow! Oh my god, how I miss the Melawis's Char Kuey Teow with the extra LARD! Man, this reminds me of the days when I would send Ada back to hers after classes, and then me and Hyon-Xhi would head back home and pick up Gan for some Char Kuey Teow in Melawis. Good Ol' Days.
Anyways, I reach back to Birmingham and had to rush for another CNY dinner. YES! That's like three dinners in three days! What a way to spent CNY eh? Filling ur stomach with good food. haha! I attended a dinner held by the Singaporean Society. I had to attend this dinner, more than half of the SingSoc committee is my friends. It was seriously a fucking huge dinner I must say. About 200ppl attended the dinner! It was seriously a successful plan.
After the dinner? Its the after-party of course! Everyone were suppose to head for IndieBar at first, but I don't know due to what. Everyone diverted to SoBar. Yea, like WTF? SoBar? I think they expect each of us to come out sobered from a bar? Hell No! Well, some of us did. These are the few picts taken from that night.

That night was fun. But it doesn't compares to what fun I used to have. I found that drunk people are really funny! But they can be very annoying at the same time! Oh, for the picts, thanx to Jeremy for taking all those picts!
Two days after that night, I fall sick. REALLY REALLY SICK. I had a massive headache and fever. I didn't go to class from tuesday till friday. I basicly spend my week on a bed. With some occassion of going to Uni for group meetings.
On friday, I was feeling very very much better. I went down to Reading with Darren, Adrian & U-Kwang for some Malaysian Night. It was held by the Reading University Malaysian & Singaporean Society (RUMSoc). You know, the Malaysia Night seriously seriously surprised me. They were really good. Well, not the food part. But it was the sketch they played. It was about a love story set before Malaysia gain its independence. They are really good at acting and as well as composing a very good story. It was really hilarious as well! Too bad I left my camcorder back in Malaysia. Else, you guys could see how good they were.
This whole week, I didn't do much. I went for another Ball photoshoot. I'm just busy with loads of work.
On friday night, I got to know that my dad was admitted into hospital. Due to high blood pressure. He's now still in the hospital for further inspection. How do you tell your parents to stop eating unhealthy stuff? For example, Bak Kut Teh. My dad have at least 5 meal of Bak Kut Teh a week. Which is seriously not doing good for his health at all. How do you persuade your parent who is so hard headed? Anyhow, pray for me.
FUCK! ESSAY!!! GTG now...Too many essay to write! BYE!
*edit*
During these past two weeks. I learn some stuff I thought I would never learn. People that you thought you know don't seem to turn out like you know. People that you thought were innocent may not be so. People that you thought were evil may not be so. I made few new friends that I thought I would never be friends with. I despise some people that I thought I would be friends with. In a whole new world of strangers, true colours only shown when you get to know someone better. And time will tell that.
Oh! My friend found his CAMERA! Means, ALL THE SNOW PICTURES! HOORAY!
Me & Darren!
Old Joe's! A snow replica of my Uni's clock tower! Awesome eh?! Everywhere is Snowman, but we have Snow Clock Tower!
This is what it should be on the December 25th! Not on the February 8th!
The process of making Snow Angel!
Step 1:
You hold hands together at a distance apart.
Step 2:
You jump and lay down on the floor! Then start moving your limbs!
Step 3:
You get up slowly. TADAH!! Snow Angel! Though mine looks more like Snow Pigeon. AHAHAHA!!
Oh well, you guys will forgive me right? BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! HAH!
